Honesty is the backbone that holds together relationships. Without honesty there is no trust; and without trust there is open and hidden hostility.

Leaders pave the way for others by often making difficult decisions and taking action when no one will.

Communication is a vehicle in which honesty and leadership can travel. To be honest but not speak up when applicable is poor communication. A leader must communicate where they are heading so that others know how to follow.

Strength of mind, spirit and body, is required to have effective honesty, leadership, and communication. Steadfast commitment to personal convictions is essential.

Wisdom is essential for achieving success and serves as the unifying element in all endeavors. True wisdom involves an inner understanding of what is genuinely honest. Strength without the guidance of wisdom results in recklessness. A wise leader must possess clear direction and defined goals, along with perceptiveness in their communication. Wisdom should be continually developed through ongoing learning, thoughtful application of abilities, and regular reflection.
